Hello! So you would like to know what’s new in the beauty community? Well, that’s what I’m here to tell you. So in this post I’ll be talking about new product launches and new announcements in the beauty world. The biggest launch that happened this month was probably the launch of Fenty Beauty, a makeup line made by Rihanna. Her biggest concern was to make sure that her brand was all inclusive. To make it easier to find your perfect match, there are 40 different foundation shades. This line features products like matte longwear foundation, freestyle highlighters, a universal lip luminizer, an instant retouch primer, shimmer skinsticks, and an invisible blotting powder. To make these products easily portable and more travel friendly, most products in the line have magnetic closures.
Some big things are happening with drugstore makeup as well as high-end. First off for the drugstore is the E.L.F. cosmetic brand launching a new product every day of September. So far they have released new matte liquid lipsticks, studio highlighters, essential blushes, silicone sponges, a blending perfector brush, a concealing and blending sponge, a cheek cream and powder brush, and an ultimate face brush set. E.L.F. Cosmetics has also released their new shimmer lip shade shifters which come in six shades. They look great on their own and over top of other lipsticks.
Also for drugstore, the NYX Cosmetics brand has just launched six new palettes each with twelve colors included. Each palette is inspired by a different element; fire, wind, water, earth, air, and metal. These eye shadows are easily blendable and heavily pigmented. These palettes contain a mixture of matte, shimmery, and glitter finishes.
The high-end brand Too Faced has recently launched the peaches and cream collection. Everything in this collection is infused with peaches and sweet fig cream. In the Peaches and Cream collection there is a velvet matte eye shadow palette, hydrating matte peach kiss lipsticks, melting powder blush, bronzer, and highlighter, peach perfect mattifying setting powder, peach perfect foundation, and a peach mist setting spray.
So do you think that you’ll buy any of these new products whether they be drugstore or high-end? Do you think any of these products are overrated or do you think maybe they are worth the hype? Personally I will be purchasing some of the elf liquid lipsticks and the brush set. Thank you for stopping by and stay tuned till next week to see some drugstore dupes for some amazing high-end products. Hope you enjoyed!
